Follow these simple steps to integrate the Interworky AI Agent into your WordPress website.

## Integrating Interworky with WordPress

### Step 1: Install and Activate the Interworky Plugin

1\. Log in to Your WordPress Admin Panel:

* Navigate to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.

2\. Search and Install the Plugin:

* Click Plugins from the sidebar.
* In the search box, type “Interworky”
* When you find the plugin, click Install Now and then Activate

### Step 2: Configure Your Interworky Assistant Settings

1\. Navigate to Interworky Assistant Settings:

* Once the plugin is activated, go back to the WordPress dashboard.
* Click on Interworky Assistant Settings from the sidebar menu.

2\. Obtain Your API Key:

* You will be prompted to get your API Key in from the [Interworky Integration Page](https://interworky.com/dashboard/tutorial), you will be directed to the Interworky Dashboard.
* Create an account or log in if you already have one.
* Once logged in, navigate to the Integration Page to copy your unique API key.

3\. Enter Your API Key:

* Return to the Interworky Assistant Settings page.
* Paste your API key into the designated field.

### Step 3: Customize Your AI Agent

1\. Personalize Your Agent:

* In the Interworky Assistant Settings page, you can customize your Agent's name, colors, and overall personality to match your brand.
* Sync your website’s content to populate the opening statement and knowledge base automatically.
* Customize your knowledge base.

### Step 4: Adjust Plugin Visibility and Advanced Settings

1\. Set Where the Agent Appears:

* Navigate to your Plugins page and click on the settings button next to the Interworky plugin.
* Select the pages where you want the Agent to appear (for example, /contact/ or /about/).
